...by Carrie Underwood
So because my adapter was broken and had to be replaced (it now is, by the way), I had a lot of time to think about my stories. I was really debating taking a break after finishing Stop the World, but after reading reviews once I did manage to get online, I couldn't. I love that my readers love my stories, and as a result, I wouldn't take a break but I would be switching things around.
I don't have the time to write Blackout because it's a long story, and it took me six months to write The Dead Man's Tale. But I really want to use Jeffery Beech's character somehow, so I'm kicking more ideas around. In it's place, I'm putting Foolish Games, a story I wrote around the time I wrote The Dead Man's Tale, but had four chapters to write to finish it. It's more of a story for me, but finishing the story is my main goal and I'm excited to finish it up.
I liked having three days off from writing; it rejuvenated my excitement for my stories. It also made me realize that there were times when I need to take my break for my own sanity, and to ensure I don't consider writing something I have to do when it's something I want to do.
So, as I said, I'm really excited. Plus, I have a western outlined, I'm hoping to start a new pirate story, I want to do a sequel to Heroes & Thieves, and my dream would be to combine the characters from Saving Smiles and Fatal Attraction so the Shadow and the Enigma have a final showdown. Plus, there's that story with Jeffery Beech. So I'm keeping busy and I hope that you readers share my enthusiasm.
Anyways, on with the spoilers...
The last story I wrote before this mishap occured was Until You're Mine. Chapters 25 and 26 are done. And Frankie assumes (rightly or wrongly) about what Lewis says and what Joel adamently claims isn't true.
Stumble has also been updated - Chapter 16 has been posted. Daniel accompanies Gemma to a beach bonfire, and it's then that Gemma realizes other women might actually be interested in him. And she doesn't seem to like that.
Losing Myself in You: Yup, Chapter 15 has been posted. I refuse to spoil it for you (Nice try!) so you should go read it for yourself!

Telephone
...by Lady Gaga feat. Beyonce
Stop the World: Chapters 12 and 13. Amber shows Harleen around Hell, and Harleen buys an interesting book she doesn't want Andrew to see due to the subject matter of it.
Closer: Chapter 21 has been posted. The Enigma and Taylor have their first fight. I can't say anything more than that because I don't want to spoil anything.
Falling Over Me: Chapter 2 is posted! I am so excited I've started posting this story! Lara wrecks her job interview because Mike shows up unexpectedly. And then he tells her that he's dead.
--
Okay, new story summary time! I wanted this up last weekend, but I was so busy moving stuff. Anyways, here they are now, so please forgive the lateness!
Battlefield: (January 13, 2010) Devyn isn't like any other human, probably because she's not. She wasn't made, she was created for the sole purpose to be a human weapon. She trains daily with her training partner and best friend Rachel because she's going to be used in an experiment for the public's entertainment. She's also assigned a very attractive but infuriating breeding partner from Scotland, Gerard. Her Unit is going up against five other Units, fighting to the death. The reward? Freedom. The chance to blend in with humanity. But will the elusive Director keep his word? And will Devyn and Gerard ever get along to the point of focusing on their mission?
Killing By Captivation: (January 27, 2010) The devil needs a human to marry and procreate with in hopes to taint humanity. He sends his demon, Paul, a man neither living nor dead, in order to find the perfect mate in exchange for his own humanity; essentially life. Paul finds her in Starbucks' worker Amanda (Mandy), and as the world turns into turmoil, he saves her and takes her with him. Along the way, he ends up falling in love with her, and now must decide whether she's worth losing the chance at life.
Blackout: (February 9, 2010) (Yes, I'm actually going to write this one!) Two FBI agents who happen to be partners always seem to be at odds with each other. Jeffery Beech is a devestatingly handsome, arrogant agent with swagger while Mina Wilson is intelligent, laidback, and the only one of Beech's female partners who has resisted his charms... until one night, when neither can deny temptation any longer. They pretend as though nothing has happened, and manage to work together without problems - save for the sudden realization of feelings. Then Mina is kidnapped, just moments after learning something about herself, by none other than The Director, a man notorious for kidnapping young women and having them lip synch to a CD of their choosing, releasing one song every hour. If the police can't reach her by the time the CD is finished, she is killed. Mina's CD of choice is Britney Spears' Blackout. Now it's up to Beech to decipher the meaning of each song in order to figure out just where The Director has taken Mina.
Come Away with Me: (February 18, 2010) I must give credit where credit is due: I was toying around with the idea of writing a fictional account of John Dillinger after reading 10 (yes 10, no exaggeration there) books on the man's life, and fell irrevockably in love with him, but I could never figure out where to insert my fictional heroine. Enter Evanescence's Love, who suggests that I write a story about a taxi dancer - a woman in the 1920s and 30s who danced with men for money (dimes, to be exact). And the pieces suddenly fell into place. I had my plot - based on accurate, historical information - and I DO keep to what actually happened - most of the time. This is a romance here. Anyways, the plot is - Zelda is a taxi dancer, in an unhappy relationship up until the point where a man who introduces himself as Jimmy Lawrence sweeps her off her feet. That man is really Dillinger, and after finding out about Zelda's relationship, whisks her away on adventure she'll never forget.
Can't wait to share them with you! I hope you're excited!

No Air
...by Jordin Sparks feat. Chris Brown
See! I told you the whole update thing would get generated.
Anyways, so I posted Chapter 33 of Beautiful Disaster. Johnny and Izzy arrive at the hidden pirate cove, and many of the pirates there are interested in Izzy because, well, she's a female and Johnny is a notorious bachelor. So what's this about him proposing to her? Go read and find out!
Chapter 2 of The Dead Man's Tale has also been posted. I really love these two characters, this story... I adore it. Anyways, okay, so Jake takes a jewel Brooke specifically asks him not to take and she intends to get it back, even if that means tracking him down herself!
Also, Chapters 24 and 25 of Stumble have been written. An engagement party goes horribly wrong not only because of Daniel's critical parents, but gunfire. Bum, bum, bum! You'll have to wait to find out what I mean...
Ooh, I outlined two more stories that are scheduled to be released in January. Look for summaries of them in the near-future, titled Battlefield and Killing By Captivation. I'm working on two more outlines now, and, those of you who were interested in Blackout, I've decided to go through with it finally! Look for it in January as well.
And that's it for me. :) Until next time.

Don't Go (Girls and Boys)
...by Fefe Dobson
Well, kiddies, got some huge news for you! But we have some news before then so you'll just have to wait until the end. Ha!
Anyways, Dangerous & Moving has been updated with Chapter 22.
Tomorrow, I plan on finishing Love's Back Pocket! Writing it, at least. I only have to write Chapter 35 and the Epilogue. I'm really excited to finish this because once I finish this story, I can continue Heroes & Thieves.
I wrote Chapter 31 of Brighter Than Anyone today. It's Marissa's bachelorette party, and the girls go to Disneyland. I wrote it in a really different way, though. I don't want to explain it only because I don't want to give too much away (plus, it's somewhat hard to explain).
I also wrote Chapter 35 of Beautiful Disaster as well. It's kind of unnerving though; I'm starting to lose the passion I had for it when I first started. However, I plan to finish it just like I am with my other stories, even though it's a tad harder than I originally anticipated. Only five more chapters to write plus an epilogue.
I am nearly done with my outline for Heroes & Thieves, and it's excruciatingly detailed, which I am very excited about! (Which is probably I'm not as excited about Beautiful Disaster.)
Now... for the news.... I plan to withhold Blackout only because a more pressing matter has slipped into my water and inspired me. I'm planning a sequel to Fatal Attraction! It's untitled and in the early stages, but the muses have spoken. Once I'm finished with the Heroes & Thieves outline, I plan to start on the Fatal Attraction sequel outline. I'm really excited because I have so many ideas I want to exploree with Taylor and The Enigma.

Let This Go
...by Paramore
Sorry for the lack of updates, you guys. Totally my fault. But let's see where I'm at with my stories, shall we?
Chapter 19 of Beautiful Disaster was just posted, and I have finished up to Chapter 32 of the story. (Keep in mind the story has 40 chapters, plus an epilogue.)
Brighter Than Anyone has 16 chapters for reading, and I recently finished writing Chapter 29 of the story. I was quite inspired to write that particular chapter, though I'm sure people may not be as happy to read it. Oh well. I always know a chapter is superb (in my humble opinion) if you can't stop writing it, and I couldn't stop writing Chapter 29.
Love's Back Pocket is nearly finished when it comes to the writing process. I have two chapters to write, plus an epilogue. I must say, I'm glad this story is coming to a close. Don't get me wrong - I'm glad I stuck it out and finished it, but it was harder to write than I originally expected. When it concerns the actual story, Chapter 18 was recently posted.
Danerous & Moving is, as you know, finished when it deals with the actual writing part, and Chapter 21 of the story was posted yesterday. It's not as popular as my other stories, but I'm quite proud of it.
Heroes & Thieves is not under hiatus anymore. Thanks to pirates and John Dillenger and, of course, Public Enemies, I have found new excitement and inspiration for the story, and have started an outline so I know where I'm going. *Thanks to everyone who's stuck with it for so long! Chapter 17 was recently posted with the promise that more chapters were coming soon.
I also plan to post The Dead Man's Tale, which is the first original story I ever finished, and something I'm remarkably proud of. Chapters are longer, and the storyline is (I find) quite interesting. It's, of course, about pirates, treasure, and romance. Throw Shakespeare into the mix, and there you have it, without giving too much away.
Three new story ideas (coming soon!) are as follows:
Blackout - Two CIA agents who happen to be partners always seem to be at odds with each other. Jeffery Beech is a devestatingly handsome, arrogant agent with swagger while Mina Wilshire is intelligent, laidback, and the only one of Beech's female partners who has resisted his charms... until one night, when neither can deny temptation any longer. Now it's up to Beech to decipher the clues Mina is trying to give him of where she is through Britney Spears song. (*Note - I've been toying with this idea for a long time, and though I have an outline planned, I feel it's missing something so it may not be out quite as soon as the other stories.)
Stumble - Gemma Harrison is merely trying to go through college as normally as she possibly can, given the fact that she is the daughter of the head of the CIA. When Brent learns of credible threats against his daughter's welfare, he enlists one of his best agents originally from MI6, Daniel Bond, to help out concerning Gemma's safety. To Brent, the best bet for Gemma to remain normal and to down play any suspicion in hopes to keep her as safe as possible, he suggests Daniel and Gemma pretend to get married. This way, she'll have a protector with her at all times. The problem is, Daniel and Gemma don't exactly hit it off, and marriage seems to be the least of their problems... (*Note - I originally planned to write this story along with the ones I'm currently writing now, but my inspiration ran dry. However, it's sparked a bit, at least concerning this story, and I'm currently working on an outline for it.)
Lose Myself in You - In another world where werewolves live among humans, a select group of people make it their mission to take down these beasts. Blair Barker is a member of the Nocturnal Defense Society, wanting nothing more than to take down as many werewolves as she can. On a secret mission, she meats Logan Black, Alpha-male and in charge of a large group of werewolves. Before he lets her leave, however, he nips her neck. Blair returns to normal, as normal as she can possibly get. Except now she starts feeling different, having intimate dreams that featured Logan, and Logan himself can't get Blair out of his head. Unbeknownst to either of them, in marking her, Logan has claimed her, and Blair, though she hates it, realizes she won't be satisfied with anyone else but Logan. (*Note - I have a complete albeit rough outline of this story.)
When each current story is finished (I mean finished in terms of posting on Fictionpress), I'll add a new one into the rotation.
Besides that, I think that's pretty much it. =) Glad to be back!
