So because my adapter was broken and had to be replaced (it now is, by the way), I had a lot of time to think about my stories. I was really debating taking a break after finishing Stop the World, but after reading reviews once I did manage to get online, I couldn't. I love that my readers love my stories, and as a result, I wouldn't take a break but I would be switching things around.

I don't have the time to write Blackout because it's a long story, and it took me six months to write The Dead Man's Tale. But I really want to use Jeffery Beech's character somehow, so I'm kicking more ideas around. In it's place, I'm putting Foolish Games, a story I wrote around the time I wrote The Dead Man's Tale, but had four chapters to write to finish it. It's more of a story for me, but finishing the story is my main goal and I'm excited to finish it up.

I liked having three days off from writing; it rejuvenated my excitement for my stories. It also made me realize that there were times when I need to take my break for my own sanity, and to ensure I don't consider writing something I have to do when it's something I want to do.

So, as I said, I'm really excited. Plus, I have a western outlined, I'm hoping to start a new pirate story, I want to do a sequel to Heroes & Thieves, and my dream would be to combine the characters from Saving Smiles and Fatal Attraction so the Shadow and the Enigma have a final showdown. Plus, there's that story with Jeffery Beech. So I'm keeping busy and I hope that you readers share my enthusiasm.

Anyways, on with the spoilers...

The last story I wrote before this mishap occured was Until You're Mine. Chapters 25 and 26 are done. And Frankie assumes (rightly or wrongly) about what Lewis says and what Joel adamently claims isn't true.

Stumble has also been updated - Chapter 16 has been posted. Daniel accompanies Gemma to a beach bonfire, and it's then that Gemma realizes other women might actually be interested in him. And she doesn't seem to like that.

Losing Myself in You: Yup, Chapter 15 has been posted. I refuse to spoil it for you (Nice try!) so you should go read it for yourself!

Trust Me

Okay, so Chapter 38 of Brighter Than Anyone has been written, polished, whatever you want to say. It's kind of a filler, setting up the next chapter, which is probably the climax of the story. There's also a flashback in this chapter for my readers who haven't read Saving Smiles.

Also, Chapter 23 of Beautiful Disaster has been posted. Slowly but surely, the plot is on its way of starting off. Of course I had to build up the necessary sexual tension between Johnny and Izzy, which I think went pretty siccessfully and now we get to start going to where the story is going to take us. Hm... I hope that makes sense...

Okay, I wrote Chapters 18 of both Beautiful Disaster and Love's Back Pocket. Johnny and Izzy have a fight while Robert and Holly go experience a Las Vegas casino. Chapter 15 of Brighter Than Anyone and Chapter 27 of Dangerous & Moving have also been written. Andie gets a call from someone she wasn't expecting, while Max makes a sacrifice for Jason.

Chapter 9 of Brighter Than Anyone has been posted, and I just posted Chapter 11 of Love's Back Pocket.

Chapters 31-6 of Saving Smiles have all been updated and reposted. I should be done with editing this story tomorrow!

Sorry about the lack of updates yesterday. As expected, I'm busier on the weekends than on weekdays, but that doesn't mean I didn't update and write my stories.

Anyways, I have written Chapter 14 of both Beautiful Disaster and Love's Back Pocket, I have written Chapter 11 of Brighter Than Anyone, and finally, I have written Chapter 23 of Dangerous & Moving. Whew! But lots of stuff happen! Bex and Izzy teach Johnny some sex ed., Holly and Robert engage in their first official session (it doesn't go well), Christian and Andie have another talk about Vanessa, and Jason and Max are in Vegas. w00t w00t!

Also, Chapters 16-18 are edited and posted of both Saving Smiles and Fatal Attraction.

Okay, I just finished Chapter 13 of both Beautiful Disaster and Love's Back Pocket. In both chapters, we take a deeper look into the mindset of Johnny and Robert, and how they feel about Izzy and Holly respectively. *Hint - they have no idea how they feel but they know they're feeling something.

Rock Steady

Let's see, let's see... I updated Love's Back Pocket, posting Chapter 8. Speaking of which, I also wrote Chapter 12 of the story today. I find it difficult to know where the characters want to take this story. I kind of know where and how it's going to end - it's the whole "getting there" I'm finding slight difficulty with.

Anyways, I also wrote Chapter 12 of Beautiful Disaster today as well. I know exactly what's going to happen with this story because I made a rough but somewhat detailed outline of it last night. I'm actually looking forward to writing about it. As of right now, there should be about 40 chapters, plus an epilogue.

I also wrote the outline to Brighter Than Anyone. This is probably my favorite story to write right now (though I do enjoy all my stories) just because I love writing Christian and Andie. It's going to be very sad when I finally finish this story. Le sigh. Maybe if I miss them too much, I'll write a couple of one-shots. Anyways, as of right now, there should be 45 chapters, plus an epilogue. Yup, longer than Saving Smiles. I hope everyone is happy about that.

Speaking of Saving Smiles, I edited the next 3 chapters (10-12) and reposted them on Fictionpress. I was supposed to do that yesterday, I know, but I was too enthralled with writing my outlines to stop.

I've had the outline to Dangerous & Moving done for about a month now (maybe?), so I know where I'm going with that. There should be 32 chapters and an epilogue.

Now, if only I could get cracking on the elusive Love's Back Pocket, I would be set...

What Took You So Long?

Okay, today was definitely an eventful day. I edited the next three chapters of Saving Smiles (4-6) and replaced the ones posted with the edited versions.

I wrote Chapter 8 for both Beautiful Disaster and Love's Back Pocket. And speaking of the latter, I just posted Chapter 6 on Fiction Press.

I have a math final tomorrow, but look for Chapter 4 of Brighter Than Anyone some time tomorrow afternoon.

Whew!

I Need a Title

Okay, so the sequel to Saving Smiles is definately a go. I have a bunch of ideas which I need to write down and order up and everything before actually writing it. Plus, everything would be so much easier if I had a title. The way I got Saving Smiles was quick and easy. It comes from Vanessa Carlton's song, Pretty Baby. It fit perfectly. But now, I'm kind of thrown. So I've been listening to music, hoping to find a song title or phrase that sums up what I want to happen in this story. So far, nothing, but I hope to have the prologue written soon. Le sigh.

I posted the first chapter of Love's Back Pocket just recently. If I'm being honest, it's probably my most original work. The thing is (and I worry about this about all of my stories) I just need to make sure I know where I'm going with it. For me, it's easy to write the first ten, fifteen chapters without knowing what's going to happen, but then, once I get to know the characters more, I plot out the rest of their story.

Speaking of plotting, I just finished the first basic plan for Dangerous and Moving. But sometimes, things change, and you've just got to go with the flow, you know?
